Luke Prater is all about his FAITH, his FAMILY and music..... mostly inspired by his heros Aaron Watson, George Strait, Ronny Milsap, Johnny Cash & George Jones to name just a few! Keeping Jesus first and the cowboy in country music is his focus! At just 17 years old, he is taking South Texas by storm by playing live music with his own special twist !
Music is built right in Luke's bones, it's hard to find him anywhere without a guitar in his hands, belting out music. Having a great passion to play since he could barely walk, he has been playing and singing since he can remember. His grandfather, Lowell, played guitar for the legendary George Jones for a short time and his dad has been playing since he was a youngster as well. Luke is very active in his church by faithfully serving in the worship band Sundays and Wednesdays.
Luke proudly lives by 1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no one look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in your speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity.".
